You\u2019ve likely been using these ideas already\u2014just without the formal labels.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve ever thought:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI want my child to understand how plants grow.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI hope they can recognize different types of birds.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI\u2019m helping them count to 10 on their own.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then you\u2019re already thinking in terms of objectives and outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>This post will help you use those thoughts intentionally\u2014with simple language and a repeatable method that doesn\u2019t take extra time.
